Apartment Maintenance / Make Ready Technician

We are looking for someone who can diagnose and perform repairs quickly and efficiently, and clearly communicate with customers and service consultants.
Job Responsibilities
Perform all aspects of apartment “make-ready” for new tenants, including:
Wall repair, painting, caulking, and cleaning
Appliance inspection and repair
Light plumbing (faucets, toilets, water heaters, etc.)
Electrical repairs (light fixtures, switches, outlets)
Flooring touch-ups or replacements
Respond promptly to maintenance service requests from residents.
Maintain a clean, organized work environment and tools.
Conduct regular inspections of property grounds and common areas.
Communicate effectively with management about needed materials, supplies, and project timelines.
Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
Compensation
Compensation is based on experience. Range from $29-42 an hour

Education and/or Experience
2+ years of experience in apartment maintenance, property management, or related trade work.
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders when necessary.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Operator Driver's License clean driving record.
HVAC certification or EPA license (a plus, not required)
Previous experience working in multi-unit residential properties
Basic computer or tablet skills for work order tracking
